This was taken on our first trip to North Carolina and the Outer Banks. As you can see it was very cloudy and rained most of the day we were there. The clouds add a dramatic touch to this photo and if you love private walks on the beach, this is a great shot for your home or office. Most of the shots I take I have to walk a great deal to get, this was not one of those times. Patty and I were driving along and I spotted this patch of grass next to the beach and we were able to pull over and get this shot. I spent maybe five minutes here and only took 2-3 shots total. It's just very rare for us to get a shot that way. Way too easy!
