On our first trip to Asheville we did a second show in Virginia Beach.  We had a lot of people in Asheville ask us if we had any pictures from the Outer Banks.  At the time we did not but we were heading that way to get to Va. Beach.  We took the ferry from Swanquarter to Ocracoke.  What an experience that was!  We got there and had to wait so we thought we'd go into town and have some lunch.  To our surprise there wasn't much of a town and the only place to eat lunch was a gas station that had ready made sandwiches.  We ended up driving a bit and found a nice restaurant beside a lake.  Everyone ate there because it was the only restaurant for miles.  We got to Ocracoke late in the day and I got this shot.  We stayed in a hotel not far from the lighthouse and we walked down there several times.  What a great little place!
