This waterfall is right down the road from Sliding Rock in western, N.C. There's no hiking required, park in the lot, down a few stairs and you're there. I'm standing in the middle of the creek with my camera and tripod to get this shot. Patty's usually laughing at me when I slip just a little. In the back of her mind I think she's hoping I'll fall so she can make fun of me, as long as I don't ruin any camera gear in the process. We also have a vertical version of this picture.
