This is just one of those magical shots where everything comes together. I hiked about 7 miles the day I took this picture. I went back to several waterfalls and mostly concentrated on photos of the falls themselves. This photo was taken on the hike back to Dukes Creek Falls. I really didn't think anything of it at the time. It wasn't until I got home and Patty and I were looking through the proofs that we discovered what a great shot this is. There are times when I take a shot and then can't wait to finally see it (Rainbow at Mojave) and then there are times like this when I get surprised as we go through the proofs. The real rewards are the reaction we get at art shows from people like you that tell us how much you love our work and take a piece home with you. Thanks!
