After spending the night in Ocracoke we got up and started our journey north.  The only problem we had was that it was raining, really hard from time to time.  Not good for taking pictures.  On this day we drove from Ocracoke to Currituck stopping at Hatteras and Bodie to get lighthouse photos.  It rained the entire day except for when we got to each lighthouse.  It's like the clouds parted and we were able to get shots of all three lighthouses and as we were leaving each one it started raining again.  It's the most bizarre photo taking day I have ever had.  And look at the sky in the photos, blue sky coming through in all but one.  Fifteen minutes after every one of these were taken it was raining again!  Someone was really looking out for us that day.
